Andrew’s practice is focused in the area of intellectual property (IP) law, assisting clients in drafting and prosecuting patent and trademark applications, as well as IP-related corporate matters such as preparing and negotiating licensing, sales, and employment agreements. Andrew is a registered Canadian and U.S. Patent Agent as well as a registered Canadian Trademark Agent

As a registered patent agent, Andrew applies his unique background in biomedical electrical engineering, passion for learning how things work, and commitment to client service to assist individual inventors, SMEs, and international corporations in navigating the patent process before the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO) and United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) to protect their valuable IP assets. He also assists clients in obtaining, maintaining, and defending IP rights internationally.

Andrew has experience working with clients in protecting inventions relating to mechanical devices, electrical equipment, and control processes in a wide array of fields, including hydrocarbon production and processing, materials analysis, telecommunications, medical implants, waste treatment, and green technology.
