Andrew’s practice is focused in the area of intellectual property law. After being called to the bar, Andrew set his sights on a career path that would utilize both his legal education as well as his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, and joined Goodwin Patent & Trademark Law, a boutique intellectual property law firm in Calgary that merged with Parlee McLaws in 2016.

During his articling year, Andrew also gained experience with a prominent boutique immigration law firm in Calgary, assisting individual and corporate clients with temporary residence, permanent residence, and refugee matters. In 2013, Andrew worked in the area of energy regulatory law as a summer student with the Alberta Utilities Commission.
