Calgary Summer Law Student Employment Program

Applications are being accepted at this time for 1 Summer Student position for 2020. All applications are to be in by January 31, 2020.

Our Calgary office offers a summer employment program for students who have completed their first year of law. Students work an eight-hour day, with no billable time requirement. The primary objective is to introduce the students to the day-to-day practice of law.

Our students are given a wide range of legal assignments similar in nature to those in our articling program. Senior lawyers are appointed as mentors to assist students during their employment and provide exposure to our key service areas.

Historically many of our summer students return as articling students and then continue their legal career at Parlee McLaws.

Applications should be sent to the Calgary Articling Hiring Committee Chair. Please include undergraduate transcripts and transcripts from the first term of the first year of law school.
