Connor joined Parlee McLaws LLP in 2011 before becoming a partner in 2014.  Prior to joining the firm, he worked in private practice with a large Edmonton firm followed by 5 years as an in-house lawyer with Canada’s largest property and casualty insurer.  In total Connor has over 10 years of legal experience.

Connor has significant experience in civil litigation, primarily in insurance defence.  He has run a number of trials in the Court of Queen’s Bench and has successfully argued in front of the Court of Appeal.  Some of the areas of Connor’s experience include matters involving defamation, fatalities, large property losses, fire losses, product liability, occupier’s liability and personal injury.

The majority of Connor’s practice focuses on representing a number of insurance companies based across Canada.

In 2004 Connor became a Board Member with the Edmonton Bar Association where he served until 2010. This included a role as Treasurer from 2008-2010 overseeing a quarter of a million dollars in assets.   He was elected as the Edmonton Bar Association President in 2009.
