Experience

Prior to attending law school, Patricia received a Bachelors Degree in Nursing from the University of Calgary and spent several years working at the Foothills Medical Centre in Critical Care before deciding on a career in law. Patricia completed her law degree at the University of Calgary in 1999 and completed her articles with Parlee in 2000.

Patricia’s practice for the past 20 plus years primarily focuses on insurance litigation, specializing in general insurance defence, property loss/construction claims, personal injury, professional liability, product liability, occupiers’ liability, commercial host liability, medical malpractice, life and disability and coverage disputes. She has successfully appeared on applications and trial at all levels of Court in Alberta, written submissions to the Supreme Court of Canada and regularly represents her clients at mediations and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.
