Laura joined Parlee McLaws as an associate in 2020. She previously worked as a summer student at the firm in 2017 and completed her articles in 2020.

Laura’s practice focuses on wills & estates, restructuring & insolvency and business law in the specific areas of securities, financial services, and corporate/commercial. Laura has assisted clients with drafting wills, managing estates, restructuring and insolvency matters, securities transactions, purchase and sale transactions, incorporations, and commercial agreements, among other items.

Prior to attending law school, Laura received a Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction in Finance from the University of Alberta, while completing the Co-operative Education Program and a Certificate in Leadership. During law school, Laura volunteered with Student Legal Services, and participated in moot competitions.
