After being called to the bar, Andrew has his sights on a career path that will utilize both his legal education as well as his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering.Linda Thompson, (Patent Agent, BLT Biochemistry) Prior to joining both Parlee McLaws, and previously a Calgary based intellectual property boutique, Linda had more than 20 years’ experience in a clinical laboratory setting, largely specializing in the area of immunoassay. Linda’s ability to understand, retain, and translate complex information to satisfy patent requirements and clients alike has resulted in the granting of numerous patents including those relating to new technologies, equipment and processes for a variety of industries, but largely in the oil & gas industries.Dr. Luke Wang, (Patent Agent, Ph.D. Electrical Engineering) has many years of experience in research and development in Electrical Engineering. Educated in both Canada and China, his particular areas of expertise include wireless communications, signal processing, image processing, Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA), and Software Engineering, including web technologies, databases, computer networks, and audio/video codecs.
