Experience

Rielle completed her articles with Parlee after working as a summer student with the firm in 2020. Rielle maintains a general litigation practice with a focus on administrative law, employment law, wills and estates, and insurance litigation.

While in law school, Rielle enjoyed mooting, and participated in the Wilson Moot and the Alberta Court of Appeal Criminal Law Moot. Rielle also enjoyed serving as a member of the Alberta Law Review’s Editorial Board, and participating in an 8-month clerkship court with the Alberta Court of Justice. She also gained experience working as a research assistant in the area of energy law throughout her final year of law school.

Prior to attending law school, Rielle was involved in various research projects at the University of Alberta while completing her Bachelor of Science degree. Her love for research, asking questions, and problem solving led her to law school.

Outside of the office, Rielle enjoys spending time at the lake with her friends and family, going to spin class, and discussing good (and not so good) books with her beloved book club.
