Experience

Andrew concentrates his practice in construction law, commercial litigation, and insurance litigation, bringing an engineer’s precision and a litigator’s edge to every file. He represents large subcontractors, general contractors, and other industry professionals in complex disputes.

Prior to joining Parlee McLaws LLP, Andrew had a busy litigation practice in Ontario and has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Appeal. Whether advising on proactive risk management or advancing a matter through litigation, Andrew works closely with clients to understand their business realities and develop practical, cost-effective strategies aligned with their priorities.

Before earning his law degree from Western University’s Faculty of Law, Andrew obtained an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Applied Science in Engineering from the University of Guelph. His technical foundation informs his approach, enabling him to quickly distill complex, detail-driven matters into clear, compelling arguments in court or at the negotiating table.

Clients value Andrew’s steady, problem-solving mindset and efficient approach to dispute resolution. A seasoned and tenacious advocate, he advances his clients’ claims with clarity and conviction.

Outside his practice, Andrew is an avid sports enthusiast, Cincinnati Bengals fan, and a former varsity basketball player at the University of Guelph. He also serves as a referee with Premier Soccer League Canada and enjoys hiking in the mountains with his young family.
