Experience

Brandon maintains a broad litigation practice with an interest in general civil litigation, insurance and subrogation matters, and employment law. He is particularly adept at distilling complicated issues into clear, practical advice and he believes strong client relationships begin with responsiveness and straightforward communication.

Before joining Parlee McLaws as an associate, Brandon was a summer student and completed his articles with the firm, preparing pleadings and other litigation documents, conducting legal research, reviewing documentary evidence, and appearing in Civil Chambers on procedural applications. He also volunteers with the Edmonton Community Legal Centre. Brandon earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta, where he was a member of the winning team in the Alberta Court of Appeal Constitutional Moot Competition. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction from the University of Alberta.

Outside the office, Brandon enjoys skiing, running, scuba diving, attending live music, and cheering on the Edmonton Oilers.
