Experience

Heather’s practice includes insurance litigation, general civil disputes, and wills and estates matters, including estate planning, administration, litigation, and adult guardianship. She works alongside insurers and individual clients, assessing risk, shaping strategy, and advancing matters with care and deliberation. She has appeared before the Alberta Court of Justice and the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta.

Her work is driven by a strong interest in research, negotiation, and collaboration. Heather takes the time to understand each client’s circumstances and objectives, approaching every matter with an open mind and a practical sensibility. She values direct communication and aims to ensure clients are informed, comfortable, and confident in the decisions being made.

Clients note her responsiveness and straightforward approach. She communicates with clarity, flags uncertainty early, and follows through with careful analysis.

Outside of her practice, Heather enjoys yoga, spending time outdoors, and travelling.
