Experience

Tylan is an Associate in the Parlee McLaws Calgary office, working with clients on oil and gas, litigation, wills and estates, and corporate commercial matters. He also assists clients with real estate files.

As a professional geologist with experience in the energy industry, Tylan understands the technical and operational issues that shape matters in the oil and gas sector. He brings that industry knowledge to his legal work, with particular attention to detail in litigation.

Tylan takes a straightforward approach to working with clients. He starts by listening, asks questions to understand the issue fully, and keeps clients informed as matters progress. He values clear communication and timely service, and makes himself available to clients throughout their matters.

In his wills and estates practice, Tylan advises clients on the transfer of their assets and helps give effect to their wishes through careful planning.

Outside of his practice, Tylan spends his time boating, water skiing, snowmobiling, ATVing and hiking. He also enjoys smoking meat on the BBQ, trying new restaurants, and spending time with his dog.
