Experience

Rawan joined Parlee McLaws as an Associate in 2025 after completing her articles with the firm. She practices in labour and employment, professional regulatory, and insurance litigation work. During law school, Rawan served as Vice President of her university’s law student association and volunteered with legal clinics, providing privacy law compliance advice to nonprofit organizations.

In her labour and employment practice, Rawan advises both federally and provincially regulated employers and employees on matters including wrongful dismissal claims, human rights complaints and dismissal planning. She also assists in drafting employment contracts and workplace policies. Her professional regulatory experience includes disciplinary hearings and compliance matters. Rawan’s civil litigation experience also includes insurance defence and subrogation claims.

Dedicated to continuing her community and professional engagement, Rawan volunteers with the Edmonton Community Legal Centre and is a member of CAN-TECH’s Women in Law Association. At the firm, she serves on the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee and the Health & Workplace Safety Committee. Outside of the office, Rawan enjoys skiing, playing tennis and spending time outdoors.
