Experience

Nancy joined Parlee McLaws as a litigation associate in 2019 after previously working as a summer student and completing her articles with the firm. She maintains a general litigation practice with a particular focus on insurance, professional regulatory and commercial litigation.

Nancy has advocated on behalf of clients before all levels of court in Alberta and different administrative and disciplinary tribunals. She has experience in a wide range of litigation matters including insurance defense, subrogated matters, employment disputes, human rights complaints, professional misconduct matters, and contractual disputes.

In addition to her legal practice, Nancy is a member of the firm’s Student and Charity Committees, as well as volunteers at the Edmonton Community Legal Centre and for other local non-profit organizations.
