Parlee McLaws LLP has an immediate opening in its downtown Calgary office for an experienced and motivated mid-to senior level lawyer to join our solicitor group working in the areas of corporate and commercial law. The ideal candidate will have a solid corporate and commercial practice and will also be given the opportunity to assist other senior lawyers within a wide range of corporate and commercial matters. Qualifications: A minimum of 8 years of corporate and commercial experience. Partial or full portable corporate and commercial practice. A member in good standing with current, active membership with the Alberta Law Society. Ability to exercise sound judgment, manage conflicting priorities, and work collaboratively. Desire to build strong client relationships. Responsive, resourceful, practical and diplomatic problem solver. Superior organizational skills and attention to detail. While meeting all of these requirements is most preferred, applicants with a similar set of skills and experience may also be considered.
