Experience

Tyler maintains a broad practice encompassing corporate and commercial law, real estate, condominium law, labour and employment, commercial litigation, and insurance litigation.

During his articles with Parlee McLaws, Tyler gained experience in insurance law, labour and employment, civil litigation, and corporate and commercial law. Working on both advisory and litigation matters gave him a strong understanding of the legal issues businesses encounter in both their day-to-day operations and when disputes arise.

Before pursuing a career in law, Tyler worked on major infrastructure and pipeline projects in Alberta and British Columbia, including Edmonton’s Valley Line LRT expansion.

Outside of his practice, Tyler is an avid hockey fan and player. He also enjoys watching sports, travelling, camping, and cooking. His passion for hockey is evidenced by his appointment as Captain of the Tortfeasors Hockey Club in law school during the 2025 season.
