Experience

Evelyn maintains a broad litigation practice, helping employers, insurers, and businesses resolve disputes and manage legal risk before small problems become costly ones. Her work spans employment matters, commercial litigation, and regulatory issues. Evelyn draws on experience in litigation strategy, legal research, drafting, and risk assessment to give clear, well-organized guidance that keeps pace with the practical realities her clients face.

Evelyn is known for making complicated legal and procedural questions feel manageable. She communicates directly and responsively, so clients stay informed and confident at every stage of their matter.

Prior to joining Parlee McLaws, Evelyn articled at a national firm across a range of litigation matters. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor, where she mentored aspiring lawyers through GirlUp and provided immigration and employment legal services through Pro Bono Students Canada.

Before law, Evelyn worked as a U.S. immigration law clerk and a risk management consultant at two international consulting firms.

Outside the office, Evelyn enjoys beach volleyball, travel, and wellness.
