Patrick joined Parlee McLaws LLP as an associate in 2016 following the completion of his articles with the firm. During his articles, Patrick obtained experience in civil litigation, commercial litigation, commercial transactions, life and disability litigation, labour and employment law and bankruptcy and insolvency law. He represented clients before the Provincial Court and the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta.

Before commencing his legal studies, Patrick was a member of the Ottawa 67’s hockey club in the Ontario Hockey League from 2004 to 2006. He later received his Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Windsor where he worked with local entrepreneurs to develop a range of business solutions including marketing plans and finance models as part of the Centre for Business Advancement and Research in his upper year. Patrick also gained experience in the finance sector while working for a Canadian financial institution prior to law school.
