Marin joined Parlee McLaws LLP as an associate in 2015 following the completion of his articles with the firm. During his articling year, Marin’s experience included general civil litigation, commercial litigation, corporate law, construction law, securities law, taxation law, and intellectual property law.

Before law school, Marin was a member of the Canadian Forces. Marin also gained experience in the oil and gas industry while working at a geophysical consulting firm as he pursued his undergraduate degree.

During law school, Marin sat as an associate editor for the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law Review and was actively involved with the Tax Law Society and the Natural Resources Law Society. In 2012 he went on exchange to Magdalen College at the University of Oxford where he studied English commercial and immigration law. As a member of Pro Bono Students Canada, Marin assisted the litigation and enforcement counsel of the Law Society of Upper Canada and appeared before the Tax Court of Canada on behalf of self-represented litigants involved in tax disputes with the Canada Revenue Agency.
