Drew joined Parlee McLaws as an Associate in 2020 after completing his articles with the firm in 2020 and working as a summer student in 2017.

Law is Drew’s second career; before attending law school at the University of Alberta, Drew devoted over 13 years to the hospitality sector, including five years as a manager within a corporate restaurant chain. Drew now brings this professional experience to his practice of law, specializing in Labour and Employment, Aboriginal, Immigration, Privacy, and General Civil Litigation.

Prior to law school, Drew received a Bachelor of Arts with distinction from the University of the Fraser Valley in Abbotsford, British Columbia, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Criminology.

In law school, Drew supplemented his studies with extensive volunteer experience, serving with Student Legal Services (both Criminal and Civil/Family Law Projects), Civil Claims Duty Counsel, Edmonton Community Legal Clinic (both the Family Law Advice Clinic and Public Legal Education), the Queen’s Bench Amicus Project, and Homeless Connect.
