David joined Parlee McLaws LLP as an associate in 2017 after previously working as a summer student in 2014 and completing his articles with the firm. Prior to joining Parlee McLaws, David graduated from the University of Alberta, Faculty of Law with Distinction and was on the Dean’s List in both 2015 and 2016.

David maintains a general litigation practice with a particular emphasis on insurance litigation and life and disability litigation.

David has experience in a wide range of litigation matters, including employment disputes, insurance defence, subrogated insurance actions, commercial disputes, debt collection, travel insurance defence, life and disability insurance defence, and Aboriginal law.

David has advocated on behalf of clients before the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench and the Provincial Court of Alberta (Civil). He has trial experience in the Provincial Court of Alberta (Civil).
