Experience

Colleen joined Parlee McLaws’ Calgary office as an associate lawyer in 2016. Her experience includes corporate and personal tax planning, trust and estate planning, corporate reorganizations, and tax dispute resolution. Colleen’s practice also includes advising on GST/HST matters. She has a particular interest in business issues including succession planning, farm transition planning, minimizing taxation on death, and the tax-efficient separation of corporate matrimonial property.

Colleen has completed the CBA Tax Law for Lawyers program and the CPA In-Depth HST/GST course. She is currently enrolled in the CPA In-Depth Tax Course with an expected completion date of 2018.
