Angela joined Parlee McLaws LLP as an associate lawyer in 2018 after previously working as a summer student in 2015 and completing her articles with the firm. She has experience in a wide range of litigation matters, including regulatory disputes, employment disputes, labour arbitrations, insurance defence, estate disputes, contract disputes, and subrogated actions.

Angela maintains a general litigation practice with a focus on employment and labour law, wills and estates, and insurance. In addition to her litigation practice, Angela maintains a solicitor practice in wills and estates.

Angela is strong advocate for her clients and has represented clients before the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta and the Provincial Court of Alberta. She also has experience with mediation and Judicial Dispute Resolution.

Prior to beginning her legal studies, Angela obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with Distinction from the University of Alberta. During her time as an undergraduate student, Angela gained valuable experience in scientific research recruiting for, conducting, and coordinating a large study as a research assistant.

Throughout her academic and professional life, Angela has consistently strived to contribute to her community by volunteering with a number of organizations including animal rescue organizations, community support organizations, Edmonton Community Legal Centre, and Civil Claims Duty Counsel.
