Amanda graduated from the University of Kent in Canterbury, UK in 2016. Prior to joining the firm, Amanda gained experience in a variety of areas including insurance defence, subrogated claims, defamation claims, construction litigation, and contract disputes.

Amanda has appeared before the Provincial Court of Alberta and the Court of Queen’s Bench.

Prior to attending law school, Amanda obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Comparative Politics from Carleton University in Ottawa.  She was also a Teaching Assistant for Introduction to Law.

During her time in Ottawa, Amanda worked on Parliament Hill in various capacities for the Honourable Senator Grant Mitchell as well as volunteered with many community organizations including the Women in Leadership Foundation.

Outside of work, Amanda is a certified yoga instructor and teaches weekly yoga and meditation classes with Lawyer’s Assist.

While attending law school, Amanda volunteered at the Kent Legal Clinic assisting with pro-bono work.

Amanda currently assists with a Business Law course at the U of A Faculty of Extension where she teaches a lecture on Civil Procedure.  She also volunteers with EDSNA and is a peer mentor for Canadian students attending the University of Kent.
