This ranking was a result of one transaction for Canadian Natural Resources Limited, being the issuance of notes in a principal amount of USD $2.2 billion. The Parlee McLaws team included Nancy Penner, Jim Thomson, Tom Ryder (tax), Scott Watson, and Allan Guty. The National Post also ranked Parlee McLaws first for the largest debt offering of any Canadian debt issuer (Q1, 2007) and fourth for legal counsel on all public securities offerings by Canadian issuers (Q1, 2007) under combined debt and equity.
